Jordon Leamaster

Since I’ve joined the union, I have renewed hope in working in the U system. Not because of any faith I have in the U as an employer, but because of the quality and integrity of the nurses and techs that I work with. I know that we can make the U be the institution that they purport to be through unified action and the righteousness of our cause.

I feel like the best outcome for our union will be when the university agrees to pay its workers a living wage and when we have the university one to the bargaining table to sign a contract that protects workers and holds the university accountable for its obligation to those workers.
